Kirill Lukyanenko

Kirill Lukyanenko graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (1999, class of A.V. Suvorov) and holds a diploma from the All-Russian Competition of Percussion Instruments (1995). He worked in The Moscow State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Pavel Kogan (1997-2002) and the Russian State Symphony Cinema Orchestra (2003-2006). He participated in a tour of Japan with the Moscow Philharmonic's ensemble of soloists under the direction of Tomomi Nishimoto, performing Stravinsky's the «L'Histoire du soldat» (2003).

Lukyanenko has participated in the film recordings in Russia and abroad, including in movies by Nikita Mikhalkov. Since 2006, he has been a member of the Russian National Orchestra. Meanwhile, he is a permanent guest artist of the MusicAeterna orchestra conducted by Theodore Currentzis. He also performs with various ensembles in cities of Russia and abroad, including at festivals in Salzburg (Salzburger Festspiele) and Edinburgh (BBC PROMS).
