Olesya Anakovskaya

Cello

Cellist Olesya Anakovskaya began studying music at the age of seven. When she was 14 she toured Russia and other countries as a member of the Children's International Orchestra. More recently, she took part in the Unisa International String Competition (UAR) and the 7th International Tchaikovsky Competition. 

A graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory and its affiliated Music High School, she was a student of A. Zagorinsky and M. Tchaikovsky.

Ms. Anakovskaya joined the Russian National Orchestra in 2003 and is a founding member of Four Strings.
