  • Information about the RNO's Grammy Award winning Wolf Tracks recording
  • RNO Founder and Artistic Director was awarded the Platonov Prize. Created by the government of Voronezh Region, the Platonov Prize is awarded each year to a leading Russian or foreign artist who has made significant contributions to the arts in Russia. The announcement called Pletnev "one of the most brilliant musicians of our times... who combines the oustanding talents of a pianist, conductor and composer."
  • The Russian National Orchestra ranked 11th among world orchestras in an online poll to discern the World's Favorite Orchestra. The Russian National Orchestra was the only Russian ensemble in the top 20.
